Certified Internet Web Professional

Does anyone have experience or knowledge of CIW? My ultimate goal is to become a web designer/developer and this turned up in my searches. The Master Web Site Manager certificate appeals to me the most of the available options. Is this as good as any a road to take, or is there a better path to achieving my goals?
