Thanks for sharing this.

I made a minor edit to your post to make the "free" part bold.

Important thing to note from Comptia website:
All participants who pass the CompTIA PDI+ beta exam will be CompTIA PDI+ certified!

Anyone know about how long it takes to receive the CompTIA PDI+ Promotion Code in order to initially register?

Thanks Spy for posting this! I do remember reading about PDI earlier ...

When will you get to know about the results?

PS: I moved your post to the Comptia section from the Pub. Its still linked in the Pub though, so pub readers will continue to find it smile.gif

Thanks for moving the thread, it's a better fit. Don't think I will know the score til sometime after Aug. 31st because that is when the beta testing ends. After you are approved for the test you only have a limit of 2 weeks to test. The idea is to take the test cold with little to no time to prepare.

Since it's BETA, did you have to pay to take it?

Very cool Spy!  Hopefully it ends up being a nice easy cert for you to have done wink.gif

Do you think you will do it again if you don't pass?

I am going to write this exam today as well.  CompTIA took there time getting back to me with the promotion code as today is the last day for the beta testing.

Hope all goes well.

First of all I think Pearson VUE should have told me when I booked my exam that they where going to charge me a "seating fee" for this exam.  Anyway luckily I had enough money with me to pay for it.

Right the exam I felt wasn't to bad at all.  Granted there where quite a few questions that I didn't have a clue about but for the majority I at least had an idea.

I can tell you this that if you already have your A+ and Network+ you are halfway there.  I am sure I aced every single network related question in this exam and the laser printing section in my A+ book was a great help as well.  Furthermore all the technical support questions where well really just general knowledge.

I believe I will only get my score for this exam sometime at the end of October but all in all I am quietly confident that I have passed.

Well I contacted CompTIA about this "seating fee" and they where very surprised to hear about it.  They say that no such fee should have been charged and that they will deal with this testing center and let me know what happens.

We took a small peek into the polka-dotted world of Yayoi Kusama for Louis Vuitton two weeks ago, but now we have some new details (and photos!) that we think you guys are going to want to see. The bags from the collection, which is officially entitled Infinitely Kusama, aren¡¯t going to hit store shelves until October, but stock images of the line have hit the Internet, and we¡¯ve got photos of all the bags for your viewing pleasure.
