My college professor has some Cisco 2600 routers and they were used for CCNA classes out there, and he mentioned that he might be selling them, and get the school to buy new equipment (He uses his own routers). So I was wondering will the 2600 series be sufficient for the CCNA/CCNP and also for the new CCENT??
Thanks alot

I am no means a cisco expert, but I believe they will be sufficient for the OLD CCNA, as well as the new one.

Do they have WIC-1T cards installed as well? If so, is he planning to put them up for auction on ebay?

I'm looking to buy about two of these myself as well as a 2950 switch for my CCNA studies as I don't believe in simulators. Experience with real cisco gear is what makes you a true CCNA, in my opinion.

Good Luck!  hi.gif

I will have o find out what all modules they have. I figured I am planning on studying for CCNA after a couple more Microsoft tests, so if I can get a good deal, why not?

I'll find out all the details and reply back....thanks!
