Hello,

In the last year or so I have managed to obtain my CompTia A+ and Network +.  I did it all just by using this website and buying a few used books cheap on Amazon. Having a background in IT helped as well.  I started a new job recently where SQL 2000 is used.  I've decided to start getting ready for the MCDBA based on the SQL 2000 and Server 2003 criteria. I need SQL 2000 for my current job.  Has anyone obtained their cert aleady?  How was it? Comments ? Suggestions ?

I am working on my 70-228 right now. maybe its just me but i find reading about SQL is very dry...
The practice questions that i have seen arent very hard, but again having to read the M$ press book about SQL is painful

I am learning SQL for the good of my department ("the needs of the many out weigh the needs of the few"). SQL is one of the apps that we support and no one knows too much about its iner workings.
