So often a new member will ask "what's on the Aplus test". The best answer is either "everything" or "only CompTIA knows". With the thousands of questions that CompTIA has there is no way to know what parts are going to be on the test. Brain dumps do not work.
Of the guys in my shop, all of them had different stuff on the test, like one had a lot of minimum reg.for windows and I had only 1 question on that. Another was loaded up on IRQ & I/O addresses. Get it! Each test is different. Each covers A+, just in different ways. You have to study each objective listed by Comptia. Use the practice test here to show areas you may be weak in. That's one reason there are three of them. If you try to brain dump and simply memorize answers, you will fail. Each exam is unique and chosen from a very large set of questions.
Like I have said before, the idea is to learn, not just pass.
Remember that any topic can show up on your A+ test. So the answer to what's on the test is "could be anything"
Good luck
