oh yes the Critical reading part is the most difficult part for me too, i will be taking my SATs in the coming march hopefully i will pass >< haha. The critical reading is not only hard and long but its BORING maybe thats why i tend to be gaze off.

Reading the NY Times or Wall Street Journal or other quality-writing newspapers is a good way to start, but you need to do it for a year or two before taking the test.

Practice tests are also essential. Take as many as you can. Get some from the College Board, some from commercial books, etc.
