Top Memory Flashcards

Memory is a process in psychology in which information is encoded, stored and retrieved. There are three main stages when it comes to forming and then retrieving memory; encoding, storage and retrieval. Encoding allows information from the outside world to reach the five senses, in the form of physical and chemical stimuli. Information must be changed to fit in the encoding process stage.

The second stage of memory, storage, entails information that has been stored over a long period of time. And the final stage, retrieval, just means retrieving information that has been stored in your memory. What is the first memory that you have as a child? Are you aware that memories can literally keep us alive and healthy? Read all about memory and expand your knowledge, and memory, with these fun flashcards!
