Racial equality is a pervasive issue that still affects our lives today. In many countries—America, especially—it's an issue that rises again and again in the media, forcing us to confront some of the uglier aspects of humanity. With this black history flashcards set, you can dive into the history of the struggles that people of color have endured through the decades. For all you know, it may even resonate a little with your own life.

Slavery was abolished in 1865, with the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People being founded in 1909. Today, racial equality still marches on. If you think it's a relic of the past, with no bearing on your life – think again.
