Top Back Pain Flashcards

We have all experienced pain in our lives. It can be minor and acute or it can be chronic and even debilitating. Back pain is one of the most common complaints, especially as people age. It can be caused by various issues with any of the complex parts of the interconnected network of muscles, bones, discs or tendons. Even a small issue involving any of these structures can cause widely varying degrees of back pain. While extremely common, both the severity and even the site of the pain can differ greatly. Something as simple as a muscle spasm can send you to the emergency room, while a degenerating disc may only cause minor discomfort.

Our flashcards cover different kinds of pain, treatments, possible negative side effects, and even different parts of a syringe. Some of our questions include things like: Who is the ultimate authority on the quality and severity of pain? What is the pain called that is persistent, lasts beyond healing period - 3-6 months in duration, may have remission or exacerbation, and may be associated with withdrawal, depression, anger & frustration? Check out our cards for the answers!
