Preposition
Shows the relationship of a noun or a pronoun to some other word in the sentence.
Subject

A comparison between two unlike things, using a word such as like, as, than, or resembles.
Analogy
A comparison of two words that helps to show a relationship.

The word or words that a pronoun stands for.
Metaphor
An imaginative comparison between two unlike things in which one thing is said to be another.
