Stimulates enthusiasm in the group
Scapegoat
 
The person everybody blames. He/she is the target of severe anger and hostility.
Gatekeeper
 
This group member makes certain that everyone is doing his/her task and is also participating. The gatekeeper may secretly or unconsciously want to lead the group and also they want to establish norms.
Interrogator
 
Asks a never-ending string of questions
The Follower
 
This member goes along with whatever the rest of the group thinks.
Harmonizer/Conciliator
 
The member that makes sure that everything is going smoothly.
Storyteller
 
The member that monopolizes group time with telling endless often irrelevant tales.
Isolates
 
A negative group role/member that is often referred to as the “silent one” and receives little or no attention
Subgroup/Faction
 
Is a clique or a group within a group
