Abdominopelvic region
Can be divided into even smoller segments. This are can be divided into 4 quadrants or 9 smaller regions.
Right upper quadrant
Houses the right lobe of liver; gallbaldder; right kidney; portion of stomach, small and large intestines.
Left upper quadrant
Houses the left lobe of liver; stomach; pancrease; left kidney; spleen; portions of large intestine.
Right lower quadrant
Contain the cecum; appendix and portions of small intestine; reproductive organs( right ovary or right spermatic cord) and right ureter
Left lower quadrant
Contains most of small intestine and portions of large intestine; left ureter and reproductive organs ( left ovary or left spermatic chord)
Right hypochondriac region
Upper right region and contains the liver, gallblader and right kidney.
Left hypochondriac region
Upper left region and contains a portion of the stomach, spleen and left kidney.
Epigastric region
Upper middle region and contains the stomach

Right middle region and contains the ascending colon of large intestine.

Lower left region and contains initial part of sigmoid colon

Lower middle region and contains the bladder and portions of the small and large intestine.
