Explain the purpose of the vehicle winching pulley.
|
The vehicle winching pulley is used, together with floor attatchment and towing bridles, to haul heavy loads onto the A/C which require a 2:1 pull.

Explain the purpose of the floor attatchment bridle.
|
Whenever a 2:1 pull is required, this bridle is used to secure the dead end of the winch cable to the floor points
|

Explain the use of the Snatch block.
|
It is used to change the directions of the winch cable when its normal path is instucted.

Explain the use of the Rubbing strip during winching operations.

The rubbing strip is fitted to floor points on TDR 25 (C Mk 1) and TDR 34 (C Mk 3), to prevent the winch cable fouling the a/c floor at the ramp hinge.
