The statement ‘TCP and UDP port numbers are used by application layer protocols’ correctly characterizes the transport layer protocols. CCNA, which is termed as Cisco Certified Network Associate is a certification that is given by Cisco and is related to information technology. This certificate is a professional certificate, which is considered to be of good reputation. There are a range of different methods of training that are offered by Cisco.

This includes the books that Cisco Press publishes, and classroom courses that are available both offline and online falling under “Interconnecting Cisco Network Devices”. A passing score on the exam number 200-125 is required to achieve a CCNA certificate.

TCP and UDP port numbers are used by application layer protocols.
TCP uses windowing and sequencing to provide reliable transfer of data.
TCP is a connection-oriented protocol. UDP is a connectionless protocol.
