My thoughts on figuring this one out: This seems to mimic one of those darn media questions on the new test! Although, I don't think this question relies so much on knowing 'mass media' as it does on knowing the 'art of persuasion.' As soon as I saw the phrase 'persuasive techniques' my mind said, "Persuasion = Ethos + Pathos + Logos!" And sure enough you see the phrases 'emotionalappeals' and 'logicalfallacies" in the answer. Plus, answer choice D is also higher order thinking since it says 'analyze,' whereas the others are more 'identify' or 'label.'
