The song Live and Let Die is the official soundtrack of the James Bond film in 1973. It is written by Linda and Paul McCartney and was performed by Wings. Although there are more James Bond film theme songs that were nominated and won prestigious awards, this song was the first to receive a Grammy.

It charted No. 9 on the UK Singles Chart and copped the 2nd position on US Billboard Hot 100. Due to its popularity, many bands have sung their own covers of the song. But the most popular song cover was by Guns N’ Roses that was also a nominee for the Grammy Awards.

Live and Let Die- Paul McCartney and Wings

Only Live and Let Die and You Know My Name were nominated for a Grammy. Live and Let Die was recorded over three decades before You Know My Name.
