In the domain of software, ABAP refers to Advanced Business Application Programming. It is a programming language that is used for the development of applications for the SAP r/3 system, which is a very commonly installed subsystem for business applications.

ABAP objects is the latest version of ABAP which is an object oriented programming. It is a programming language that is of high level, and was created by a software company called SAP SE which is based in Germany. It first appeared in 1983. Currently, this programming language is positioned along the side of JAVA.
