The correct answer to this question is Check, Call, and Care. That is the order that should be followed. Step one is Check. This involves evaluating the scene and victim. For example, if a victim falls, see if there was anything that made them fall. Then, check the victim to ensure they are breathing and evaluate any pain they may have.

Step two is Call, which is to Call the emergency number 911. When calling, the things evaulated should be explained to the 911 operator. The last step is to care, which can involve performing CPR, First Aid, and applying bandages.

You want to check first to size up the seen. If you were to see a man floating face down (an emergency) you would check too see if she actually needed help first before calling !!!!
