The idea that man is born equal with natural rights and that its the governments job to protect those rights are prominent in the Declaration of Independence is Locke's idea.

Montesquieu's idea was that the best form of government was one in which the legislative, executive, and judicial powers were separate and kept each other in check to prevent any branch from becoming too powerful.

Darwin's idea was on evolution. His theory was a theory by natural selection as an explanation for adaptation and speciation.

Machiavelli's idea was of the view that any means can be used by a ruler if it is necessary to maintain power.

Locke

The only two you could possibly confuse here are Locke and Montesquieu, but Montesquieus ideas about checks and balances are prominent in the Constitution, not the Declaration of Independence.
