POST is an internal self-diagnostic routine check. It sends out standardized commands to check every primary device. POST has two stages:
Stage 1: This occurs before the test of the video. Audible beep codes alert you to check the errors detected during this stage.
Stage 2: This occurs after the video has been tested. Visual error codes alert users to errors detected during this stage.
