  • Disconnect any external devices like printers and scanners.

  • Check the jumper settings and BIOS settings for the CPU. Also check the voltage tab at the back of the computer case and make sure it is set to the correct voltage.

  • If you do not remember any changes you made to the BIOS settings then reset the BIOS to factory defaults.

  • Check the connectors on the motherboard.

  • Check devices physically for overheating problem.
