Swap out the card:

Get a known good card from another computer and try it on your computer. Replace the failing card immediately.

Display may be fuzzy with the known good video card because it does not have the drivers installed for it. In such a case you will see 640 x 480 display and it indicates that the old card is bad.

Integrated Video:

Incase your computer uses integrated video (video built into the motherboard) there could be a possibility that the video circuitry is bad. Try to connect a known good monitor and see if you are able to get the display. Else you have to replace the motherboard for a faulty display.

Check the keyboard:

If you hear a single beep when the computer boots it is often a defective keyboard or the keyboard is loosely connected. Try reconnecting the keyboard and power back the PC and see if the problem is solved.
