  • Blue Tooth Card  Blue Tooth is an exciting new technology that allows devices such as mobile phones, Lap Top computers, digital cameras, personal digital assistants (PDAs), and other portable devices to communicate with each other without using cables to connect them. Blue Tooth is a technology that allows these devices to communicate with each other using short-range radio waves.
  • Central Control Cover  It is a small Plastic strip present above the keyboard which has control buttons like power, brighness, contrast, volume controls and etc.
  • Docking Station  A Docking station is a device which is connected to the laptop to enhance the laptops capabilities and make it work like a desktop computer. It has ports to plug in extra devices which cannot be plugged onto the normal laptop. Docking station is a detachable part and you will not need it when travelling.
  • Mini PCI Card  An extension of the PCI bus used in portable computers. Designed for peripherals such as modems and network adapters, Mini PCI cards are credit-card sized modules that snap onto the motherboard. Mini PCI allows high-speed transfer peripheral connections in small form factor devices such as laptop computers.
  • Thermal Cooling Assembly  A component designed to lower the temperature of an electronic device by dissipating heat into the surrounding air. All modern CPUs require a thermal-cooling assembly. they are generally made of an aluminum alloy.
  • ZIF Socket  Short for Zero insertion force socket which means one need not have special tools to insert or remove the CPU.
