- Follow the instructions as indicated in the lesson titled 'Procedure and Guidelines' - PREWORK above.
- Turn the computer over. Use a standard #1 Phillips screwdriver to remove the M2.5 x 5-mm screw.
- Open the display approximately ½ inch, as shown in the adjacent figure.
- Slide the hard drive out of the computer.
- Remove the new drive from its packaging.
- Open the display approximately ½ inch.
- Press the hard drive cover down until it is fully seated in the bay, and tighten the screw.
