Removing System Board |
- Follow the instructions as indicated in the lesson titled 'Procedure and Guidelines' - PREWORK.
- Remove the keyboard.
- Remove the display assembly.
- Remove the palm rest.
- Remove the microprocessor thermal-cooling assembly.
- Remove the microprocessor.
- Remove the reserve battery cover.
- Remove the M2.5 x 8-mm screw (one) and one M2.5 x 4-mm screw.
- Remove the four M2 x 3-mm screws that secure the system board to the computer base.
- Pull out the system board starting from the front of the palm rest.
