- Follow the instructions as indicated in the lesson titled 'Procedure and Guidelines' - PREWORK.
- Remove the keyboard.
- Remove the palm rest.
- Remove the microprocessor thermal-cooling assembly.
- Pull straight up on the fan cable connector from the system board connector.
- Remove the two M2.5 x 8-mm screws from the fan and pull the fan away from the system board.
