- Follow the instructions in caution and guidelines.
- Open the cover.
- Remove any of the components that restrict access to the motherboard.
- Disconnect all cables from the motherboard.
- Remove the motherboard screw.
- Pull up on the two tabs, slide the motherboard assembly toward the front of the computer, and then lift the assembly up and away.
