- Follow the instructions in caution and guidelines.
- Open the cover.
- Lay the computer on its side so that the system board is on the bottom of the inside of the computer.
- Press in on the top shroud tabs and tilt the shroud back.
- Lift the shroud away from the hard drive.
- Disconnect the power and hard-drive cables from the drive and from the motherboard.
- Press in on the tabs on each side of the drive and slide the drive out of the cage.
- Close the cover.
