Step-by-Step confirmation can be effectively used to exclude suspecting hardware or software settings while booting the operating system.
As the name suggests, Step-By-Step Confirmation runs through the Windows operating system loading process, one step at a time, driver by driver. This purpose allows the system to find the exact point at which Windows failed. Once it is found, reboot the system and use Step-By-Step Confirmation again to bypass that point and complete the Windows launch. This bypassing can be done by selecting precisely which drivers on the system needs to loaded and skipping the ones that are causing problems.
Tap the F8 key on the Windows logo to access the advanced options screen and then scroll down to the Step by Step option and hit enter, otherwise type the corresponding number and hit enter.
