This mode is exactly similar to Safe mode except that the network services are enabled. The system is started using only basic files, drivers and the drivers to enable network connection.
The Safe mode with networking mode enables logging on to the network, log on scripts, security, and group policy settings. Non-essential services and startup programs that are not related to networking are not run.
This mode is most useful to test internet connectivity or network connectivity from the safe mode. When a virus affects a service and the system is unstable when in the normal mode. Safe mode with networking can be used to connect to internet & download the virus removal patch.
