Precautions and Troubleshooting:
Check the event logs for Event ID 9, 11 and 15. These event ID's indicates a hardware failure.
Update the BIOS.
Nearly all power problems can be easily avoided with good surge protectors and UPS devices.
Whether you remove applications through Add/Remove programs in the Control Panel, through a proprietary uninstall feature of the application, or through a third-party utility, you run a risk of damaging the Registry.
Run a CHKDSK /R (check-disk) from Recovery Console (a perfect solution for Buffer under-run error) to check drive inconsistency.
If reinstalling the operating system does not resolve the issue then perform a diagnostics (if provided by manufacturer) on the hardware devices.
