Application Compatibility Toolkit (ACT) is a set of program utilities and related documents provided by Microsoft for ensuring compatibility among application programs in Windows operating systems, especially in a large network environment. It can also be used to diagnose and fix problems related to compatibility. This could be utilized for applications running on Windows 2000 with Service Pack 3 or later, Windows XP, and Windows Server 2003. According to Microsoft these tools can be used to resolve over 200 symptoms of problems.
