If you choose to upgrade then you will have to buy an upgrade CD.

Network installation avoids the need of installing the OS in each computer individually. All you need to do is configure the client to the server and the server will install the OS for you. Multiple instances of installations will happen in parallel and this will save time. You can also automate certain part of installation where you have to choose the menu options or answer certain questions. The answers to the installation questions are provided in a file and the computer will pick up the answer from that file and install the OS.

To perform network installation you will need more hardware and tools to carry out remote installation. We will talk about these options later in the coming lessons. Let us now see what a startup and boot disk is.
