Creating Emergency repair Disk for Windows 2000:
Click Start >> All Programs >> Accessories >> System tools >> Backup from the menu.
On the tools menu click on create an emergency repair disk and follow the onscreen instructions to complete.
Creating Emergency Repair Disk for Windows NT:
You can create the Emergency repair disk while installing the operating system. The setup will guide you on how to create the repair disk. This disk will not boot the computer; it has to be used along with the boot disk.
