  • OEM  OEM is an acronym for Original Equipment Manufacturer. OEM versions are customized versions of the equipment (hardware/ software), that are sold directly to manufacturing companies such as Dell and Compaq.
  • OSR  OSR is OEM service release. Most software companies make many changes to their software between official releases, and provide these changes to customers and OEMs in the form of service releases.
