Creating files is very easy in GUI based operating systems like Windows. Here are the steps to create the file:
You need to decide where you want to create the file like which drive and under which folder . You are also allowed to create files on your desktop and in my documents.
If you want to create a file on the desktop then right-click on the desktop and select New. Then click on the type of file you want to create. You can create files in the same way in other folders in the computer.
Once you select the type of new file, windows will display the new file with the default file name as new file. You can give your own file name here and then press enter.
