  1. Boot loader: the boot loader has two parts Timeout and default.

    1. Timeout: it is the time given to the user to make the choice of booting the operating system other than the default one.

    2. Default: it has the path of the default operating system. Incase the user does not make a choice within a specified time then the default Operating system is loaded up.

  2. Operating System : This will list all the available operating systems and their paths.

    1. SCSI (n) or multi (n): SCSI option is used for SCSI adapter that are not enabled in the BIOS by default. Multi (n) is used for all other types of hard disks. The variable n indicates number of adapters.

    2. Disk (n): If multi option is used then is 0 and if SCSI is used then it is the bus number of SCSI.
