Taskbar:
It is a bar that can be found on the lower most side of the screen. It contains the start button, program manager, system tray and other information and can be configured on some Windows versions to have a quick launch bar, address bar etc.
The Windows Taskbar is a row of buttons across the bottom of the screen. It contains the Start menu button and a button for each open application.
In computing, the taskbar is a term for the application desktop bar which is used to launch and monitor applications in Microsoft Windows 95 and later operating systems. Other desktop environments also feature similar interface elements.
In Windows, the default location for the taskbar is at the bottom of the screen, and from left to right it contains by default the start menu, quick launch bar, taskbar buttons and notification area or system tray.
Taskbar Grouping:
When many document and program windows are open, taskbar grouping creates more available space on the taskbar. For example, if you have 10 windows open and three of them are notepad documents, the three notepad documents will be group together into one button named "Notepad." Clicking this button will show the individual documents.
