Windows 2000 also known as Windows NT 5.0 was released in 2000. It is a 32-bit preemptible , interruptible graphical business-oriented operating system.

Professional
Server
Advanced Server
Data Center Server
When compared to Windows 98 and Windows NT 4.0 the interface of Windows 2000 almost remained same. Instead of version 4 it integrated Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.
