
Under this category, the printer does not feed paper, feeds multiple pages, or the paper is jammed.
CauseThe paper feed rollers may be worn which causes the rollers to slip on the paper.
A sensor flag may be in the wrong position or not moving freely, or the drive gears could be worn or jammed.
May be something is blocking the paper, perhaps a cluster of cake sprinkles from an office party, a tuft of hair, a paper clip, etc.
Click the 'Eject' option in the printer software or the 'Eject' button on the printer itself.
Also make sure:
Paper isn't too old or creased.
Paper is loaded as per the instructions in the printer manual.
Edge guides are set correctly.
Paper isn't too thin or rough.
Use paper that meets the paper requirement for the printer as indicated in the user manual.
